Sam Patch and Mary Jemison are located within easy driving distance of the New York State Thruway I-90, and I-490.
Free parking for cars and busses is available adjacent to both of our docks.

From the NYS Thruway Interstate-90 Westbound
- Take NYS Thruway I-90 Exit 45 (Rochester-Victor) to Route I-490 Westbound.
- Take Exit 26 for Route 31 (Pittsford/Palmyra).
- Turn right heading NW on Route 31 towards Pittsford.
- Follow for 1.75 miles. This will bring you into the center of Pittsford Village.
- Turn right onto Main Street at the main intersection at the Village center.
- Cross over the Canal and take first right into Schoen Place.
- Look for the Coal Tower Restaurant, a round red building on the left.
- The Sam Patch ticket office and dock are on the right, opposite the far end of the Coal Tower parking lot.
From the NYS Thruway Interstate-90 Eastbound
- Take NYS Thruway I-90 Exit 47 (Rochester-LeRoy) onto Route I-490 Eastbound.
- Take Exit 25 for Route 31F (Fairport). (Approximately 30 miles from NYS Thruway I-90 Exit 47).
- Follow to the right onto 31F heading towards Fairport.
- Take first right onto Washington Street (Route 153).
- Follow Washington Street (Route 153) till the end.
- Turn left onto Main Street (Route 96) and follow for 1/4 mile.
- Turn left into Schoen Place.
- Look for the Coal Tower Restaurant, a round red building on the left.
- The Sam Patch ticket office and dock are on the right, opposite the far end of the Coal Tower parking lot.
Parking for Sam Patch at Schoen Place
Free parking is available for Sam Patch at Schoen Place.
When arriving by car in Schoen Place, look for the tall, round, red Coal Tower Restaurant. The Sam Patch ticket booth is a dark green, freestanding building on the right side of the street opposite the far end of the Coal Tower's parking lot. Turn left into the Coal Tower Parking lot and head to the back of the lot. Turn right into the long, narrow strip of land behind the former grain silo and flour mill buildings, where individual cars may park parallel to each other. That is Sam Patch's designated parking area. Individuals with limited mobility may be discharged at the ticket booth before you park your car.
When arriving by bus in Schoen Place, look for the tall, round, red Coal Tower Restaurant. The Sam Patch ticket booth is a dark green, freestanding building on the right side of the street opposite the far end of the Coal Tower's parking lot. The bus may pull to the right side of the street, next to the ticket booth, and discharge passengers. When ready to park, the bus should pull out straight ahead and continue on until the first intersection and turn left (a bridge is on the right), Continue straight ahead and drive behind all the buildings. Turn left onto a long, narrow strip of land where individual cars may park parallel to each other, and park horizontally on that strip.

From the NYS Thruway Interstate-90 Eastbound
- Take NYS Thruway I-90 Exit 47 (Rochester-LeRoy) onto Route I-490 East.
- Take I-490 East to Exit 13 (on the left) Inner Loop Plymouth Ave/Downtown West exit.
- Stay in right hand lane of the exit ramp.
- At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Plymouth Ave.
- Stay on Plymouth Ave. until it ends at Exchange Blvd.
- Turn left (north) on Exchange Blvd.
- Stay in the right lane and drive by the brick Corn Hill Landing development.
- Turn right into the driveway at the north end of Corn Hill Landing.
- Turn left into the parking lot under the new Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge. The lot can accommodate approximately 100 cars. Parking here is payable by credit card only.
- Head to the stairway at the north end of Corn Hill Landing that takes you up to the River Walk.
- Mary Jemison is docked on the River Walk next to the iTastea Restaurant.
- Individuals with limited mobility may be discharged at the ramp next to the iTastea Restaurant and proceed to the River Walk while the car is parked.
- Paid on-street parking is available also on both sides of Exchange Blvd.
From the NYS Thruway Interstate-90 Westbound
- Take NYS Thruway I-90 Exit 45 (Rochester-Victor) to Route I-490 Westbound.
- Take I-490 Westbound to Exit 14 Broad St./Plymouth Ave. exit.
- Stay in right hand lane.
- As you exi,t you will make an immediate hard right turn following the sign to Plymouth Ave.
- Turn right onto Plymouth Ave.
- Stay on Plymouth Ave. until it ends at Exchange Blvd. Mary Jemison is docked straight ahead across Exchange Blvd. on the Genesee River. The brick Corn Hill Landing apartment complex is on the left.
- Turn left (north) on Exchange Blvd.
- Stay in the right lane and drive by the brick Corn Hill Landing development.
- Turn right into the driveway at the north end of Corn Hill Landing.
- Turn left into the parking lot under the new Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge. The lot can accommodate approximately 100 cars. Parking here is payable by credit card only.
- Head to the stairway at the north end of Corn Hill Landing that takes you up to the River Walk.

From Downtown
- Corn Hill Landing is located approximately 1/4 mile south of the War Memorial at Blue Cross Arena on Exchange Blvd. in downtown Rochester.
- Follow Exchange Blvd. heading south out of the city.
- You will pass under the Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Bridge.
- Turn left immediately into the drive at the north end of the brick Corn Hill Landing development, which will be on the left.
- Turn left into the parking lot under the new Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge. The lot can accommodate approximately 100 cars. Parking here is payable by credit card only.
- Head to the stairway at the north end of Corn Hill Landing that takes you up to the River Walk.

From Mt. Hope Blvd. Northbound
- Turn left off Mt. Hope Ave. onto Ford Street.
- Cross the Ford St. Bridge.
- Turn right at the light onto Exchange Blvd.
- Stay in the right lane and drive by the brick Corn Hill Landing development.
- Turn right into the driveway at the north end of Corn Hill Landing.
- Turn left into the parking lot under the new Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge. The lot can accommodate approximately 100 cars. Parking here is payable by credit card only.

Parking for Mary Jemison at Corn Hill Landing
Parking is available for Mary Jemison passengers on the east side of Exchange Blvd. just north of Corn Hill Landing under the new Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge. Parking here is payable by credit card only.
Paid on-street parking is available also on both sides of Exchange Blvd.
Please do not park in Corn Hill Landing parking lots. Cars parked in Corn Hill Landing parking lots are subject to towing.
When traveling by car heading south on Exchange Blvd.
- Pass under the Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Bridge.
- Turn left immediately into the drive at the north end of the brick Corn Hill Landing development, which will be on the left.

When traveling by bus to Corn Hill Landing, follow the parking directions for cars. Discharge your passengers at the ramp next to the Tony D's Restaurant. Exit the parking lot and turn right on Exchange Blvd. Park on either side of Exchange Blvd. or continue north on Exchange Blvd. and turn right again at the north entrance to Corn Hill Landing. Turn left into the parking lot under the new Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge.
